As your console ages, issues with power supply such as display flickering or excess noise can become more common. Modern components such as IPS displays, amplifiers and flash carts can exacerbate these issues. In many cases the cause is related to the power regulation, and in the case of the the Game Boy Pocket this is done by the DC power board’. Helder’s Game Boy Pocket Power Regulator has been created to help resolve these issues.
